What a wonderful tribute to a great man, that I am so fortunate to call Dad!
Your words are so true, we saw so many former employees come to honor Dad, simply because he treated them as family, a lesson many companies should remember.
You are also right about his friendships across the globe, he always took time to connect and keep those friendships growing.
Mentor is the word used to describe my dad by so many, and I agree it is a very important role .
Your message holds many truths. The one that is closest to my heart is “to never forget where you came from”.
